About the project

ChandlerKBS has been appointed to provide cost and project management services under an NEC3 Professional Services Contract.  This £40 million project comprises redevelopment of the existing Tonyrefail Comprehensive School site to accommodate a new Primary and Secondary School, the provision of new playing fields and a scheme of external works. The site features a Grade II listed building requiring refurbishment in order to house 6^th Form students. The existing Secondary School, constructed circa 1974 utilising the CLASP system of build, will be demolished and replaced with modern facilities in line with the local authority “Every School a Great School” initiative
