About the project
ChandlerKBS was commissioned by Thames Water Utilities Ltd to develop the capital allowances claim on the Thames Tideway Tunnel (TTT) project. TTT is the largest water industry project in the UK. The project aims to reduce sewage pollution in the River Thames by intercepting the sewage before it enters the river and diverting it via large storage tunnels to The Lee Tunnel and subsequently onward for treatment at Beckton Wastewater Treatment Works. The project consists of a 25km long, 7.2m diameter underground tunnel which collects storm sewage from intercepted overflows along the Thames between Acton in West London and Abbey Mills Pumping Station in the East.
