About the project
ChandlerKBS was commissioned to undertake the cost and project management, site supervision and FF&E procurement of the refurbishment of the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof hotel. Project value circa Euro 25 million.
This heritage listed building with more than 130 years of history underwent a total refurbishment of 71 guestrooms, the presidential suite, a soft refurbishment of 250 guestrooms and a new breakfast restaurant. A luxury spa of 1000 sq m was built in the centre of the hotel to include sauna and hamman.
The hotel remained in operation throughout the refurbishment works and therefore was carefully planned in close consultation with the operation requirements of the hotel.
