About the project
ChandlerKBS provided Project Management, Cost Management, FF&E Procurement and Site Supervision for the world's first design hotel situated in Copenhagen.
Works comprised the renovation of public areas, including meeting and events, lobby, reception, bar, restaurant and kitchen area and 261 guestrooms. The hotel was in operation during the entire renovation.
The hotel was exclusively designed by renowned designer and architect Arne Jacobsen, and so required special focus on Design Management and won the Wallpaper* Design Award for the Best Restoration 2017.
It’s the world’s first design hotel and the only hotel by renowned designer and architect Arne Jacobsen.
