About the project
ChandlerKBS was commissioned to undertake the full project and cost management and site supervision of the master plan refurbishment of the Hilton Düsseldorf. Project cost Euro 45 million.
The works included a full hard refurbishment and FF+E replacement of all 375 guestrooms with new 3 piece bathrooms, the hard refurbishment of the public areas, new kitchen, fire life safety upgrade of the entire hotel and the refurbishment of the facade including new windows.
The hotel had remained in operation throughout the refurbishment works. Consequently the works were carefully planned and phased over a 29 month period in close consultation with the operational requirements of the hotel.
