About the project
ChandlerKBS provided project management, employer’s agent and cost management services for this project, which was a phased development to form an extension to an existing trading retail park that continued to operate throughout the construction period.
The scheme comprised of 6 new retail units and a B&Q superstore. The new units are made of a steel frame and cladding construction and have bespoke articulations to the main entrances. Two existing units were demolished to allow the formation of the new access road through the now enlarged retail park.
The external works consisted of the formation of the finished car park and access road and an extension to Sainsburys and Boots service yard.
