About the project
This £10.5 million project comprised the successful rebranding of a hotel situated in a Grade II listed 17th century wharf building situated on the riverside with complete refurbishment of all 378 guestrooms, the reception, bar, restaurant, function and meeting rooms, and the fitness centre. Due to the riverside location, works also included refurbishment of the ferry, the ferry pier and the river walls which required licences from the Port of London authority and the Environment Agency. The hotel and ferry pier remained fully operational accessible to the public during the refurbishment programme, and the complete works were finished on time and within budget.
The services provided were cost and project Management, CDM co-ordinator and FF&E Procurement.
