The Future is Looking Smart for Steigenberger Hotels

As part of Steigenberger Hotels AG’s plans to provide a Smart guestroom internet experience in their Steigenberger and InterCity Hotels, ChandlerKBS is pleased to be providing project and cost management services for the €18million WifiNet Wireless LAN Network Installation project which is being implemented across 63 Nr hotels across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. 

Works include the installation of new cabling with passive network components to provide an upgraded service, with the preparation of IP TV to allow streaming services for later implementation.

The hotels will remain open during the large-scale, 2-year project, presenting many challenges regarding logistics, fire safety and issues surrounding owner liabilities due to the property lease arrangements.
