Senior Procurement Advisor
The Cardiff office provides cost and project management, project monitoring, Employers Agent services and taxation advice to a range of private and public sector clients across the United Kingdom. Recent expansion of our Procurement team means that we are currently seeking a Senior Procurement Advisor.
The role will involve all aspects of strategy and sourcing, tendering and evaluation, procurement management and supplier management. As a Senior Procurement Advisor, you will manage workload demands of the business and individual Partners for the provision of procurement expertise; strengthen the ChandlerKBS market position and visibility through client delivery and promote knowledge sharing within the procurement and wider team.
The successful candidate will have strong negotiating and influencing qualities and be able to deliver results in a client facing role. They will be able to deal diplomatically with a wide range of stakeholders in a flexible environment, subject to change and be able to prioritise and self-manage with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Candidates will be Degree qualified: procurement, construction, cost management, engineering or quantity surveying. They will hold a MAPM/MRICS/MCIPS or other equivalent qualification or experience. Experience of industry standard forms of contract (JCT or NEC) would be an advantage.
