European Assistant Cost Manager

As a business, we are growing nationally and internationally and as a result, we are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Cost Manager to join our Cardiff based European team that specialises in the hospitality sector.
As European Assistant Cost Manager, you will provide support for the day to day delivery on projects / programmes of work, you will support the preparation of budget estimates, cost plans and client reports. Other duties will include supporting the evaluation of tenders, contractor selection and contract documentation. Working to deadlines, the successful candidate will be able to cope with demanding and changing timeframes.
We require candidates with an industry specific qualification and who are working towards a degree in construction, quantity surveying or other RICS accredited degree. Basic knowledge of industry standard form of contract, including JCT, NEC and bespoke models for European projects would be an advantage. Essential for this role is the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with the project team and with a wide range of stakeholders in a flexible environment. Analytically minded with excellent IT skills, especially Excel are also important for the role.
