Case Study: Office Development, Hanningfield
The site for the new 3,160m2 headquarters office designed by Faulkerbrowns is located within the secure perimeter of Essex & Suffolk Water’s East Hanningfield Water Treatment Works. The main building will form a new central facility for the numerous departments currently divided amongst various buildings across the site and offers a sustainable and modern working environment.
The building comprises three basic elements: the core, the floor plate working area and the atrium. The core which accommodates vertical circulation, WC’s, showers, etc, is located to the north of the atria whilst the workspace floor plate is located to the south.
