Case Study: Luisen Centre
ChandlerKBS was commissioned to carry out full cost management on this prestigious shopping centre.
The centre was previously a combined conference facility and shopping centre. Whilst the conference facility was closed during the remodeling of the centre, the shopping centre had to remain open. ChandlerKBS provided full-time tenant liaison services to the 60 tenants of this centre to ensure the smooth operation of the retail units at all times.
The refurbishment provided the centre with a new interior including natural daylight, new flooring and ceiling as well as an extended range of customer service facilities, a centre lounge and touch screen info-points. The main contract works incorporating the structural remodeling of the centre, the MEP central plant and distribution as well as the public areas were carried out by a general contractor. In order to maintain full control and ensure flexibility, the individual fit-outs to each store were procured on a package basis.
