Senior Cost Manager

ChandlerKBS is seeking to recruit a Senior Cost Manager to work on a utilities contract in Exeter.

The successful candidate will be a team players who is confident working under pressure to strict deadlines and within budgetary constraints. They must have a detailed working knowledge of NEC3 contracts and will be computer literate. The successful candidate will be working in a collaborative environment and therefore good communication and negotiation skills are essential. 

The role may involve budget evaluation and control, agreement of target costs, benchmarking, risk analysis and management, monthly valuations, responsibility for collation of early warnings/compensation events, monthly reporting, auditing and final accounts, Client and Contractor liaison and participation in development of good practice initiatives and methodologies for continuous improvement and added value. A good technical knowledge and experience within the civil engineering and water industry is desirable.
