Exeter Office - Senior Cost Managers and Cost Managers

ChandlerKBS is seeking to recruit Senior Cost Managers and Cost Managers to work on a utilities contract in Exeter.

Successful candidates will be team players who are confident working under pressure to strict deadlines and within budgetary constraints. They will be computer literate and should preferably have some experience of NEC contract terms.

The successful candidates will be working in a collaborative environment and therefore good communication and negotiation skills are essential.

The role may involve budget evaluation and control, agreement of target costs, benchmarking, risk analysis and management, monthly valuations, responsibility for collation of early warnings/compensation events, monthly reporting, auditing and final accounts, Client and Contractor liaison and participation in development of good practice initiatives and methodologies for continuous improvement and added value. A good technical knowledge and experience within the civil engineering industry is desirable.
